From Intel to the World Bank — Mike Nguyen Brings Global Semiconductor Insight to Vanguard

We’re honored to welcome Mike Nguyen to the Vanguard Advisory Board.

Mike brings over 25 years of global experience across the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries, with a distinguished career spanning Intel, Micron, GlobalFoundries, and currently serving as Senior Principal Technical Consultant to the World Bank.

A seasoned executive, Mike led strategy and operations for Intel Vietnam Assembly & Test Manufacturing for six years, working closely with both the Vietnamese government and Intel Corporation to help shape the national semiconductor strategy and strengthen Vietnam’s position in the global supply chain. Today, at the World Bank, he advises on advanced packaging, IC design, and strategic industrial policy for Vietnam’s next-generation growth sectors.

At Vanguard, Mike will serve as Advisor on Industrial Innovation and Global Technology Strategy, helping us deepen our insights on Vietnam’s evolving industrial base and advance our mission to support the country’s next generation of serious business leaders.

Mike splits his time between Portland and Vietnam, and we’re thrilled to have his cross-border perspective and systems-level thinking as part of the Vanguard platform.
