Leadership Principles

OLD

Authoritarian Leadership
More traditional and authoritarian, reflecting a hierarchical approach. This was attributed to the historical context of wartime and post-war rebuilding, where centralized decision-making was often necessary.

Experience-Based Authority
Emphasizing the value of experience and seniority in decision-making. Respect for elders and hierarchical structures play a significant role in their leadership philosophy.

Relationship-Centric Leadership
Relationship-building and interpersonal connections are highly valued. Building trust and loyalty within the team are also considered crucial for effective leadership.

NEW

Collaborative Leadership
More inclined toward collaborative and participatory leadership styles. They value input from team members and encourage a more open communication culture.

Innovation and Adaptability
More open to innovation, change, and adaptability. Growing up in a rapidly changing world, they are more comfortable with uncertainty and open to trying new approaches.

Tech-Savvy Leadership
With the advent of technology, younger leaders leverage digital tools for communication, collaboration, and decision-making. This results in a more tech-savvy and digitally connected leadership style.
